Â鶹¹û¶³ Community College welcomed new students at the Â鶹¹û¶³ Experience (Â鶹¹û¶³EXP) event on Wednesday, September 1

Â鶹¹û¶³ Experience 2021On Wednesday, September 1, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Â鶹¹û¶³ Community College welcomed the college’s new students at the Â鶹¹û¶³ Experience (Â鶹¹û¶³EXP) event on the Â鶹¹û¶³ Fall River Campus. At the event, students were able to meet with many of our student support services, connect with academic departments and explore the campus before the Fall 2021 semester begins on Tuesday, September 7.

To support social distancing, activities were hosted throughout the Â鶹¹û¶³ Fall River Campus, featuring tours of the college’s Library & Learning Commons; one-on-one appointments with members of the academic advising team, financial aid staff, and faculty; as well as fun activities including family-friendly crafts and a barbeque lunch.

Â鶹¹û¶³ Experience 2021The event included two Resource Fairs, where students could learn about the college’s available degree and certificate programs, support services, clubs, activities and student centers, including Â鶹¹û¶³'s Multicultural Student Center, Basic Needs Center, the new Student Success Center and more.

For students unable to attend the day’s in-person activities, the Â鶹¹û¶³ Experience event was complemented with the option for students to meet with Â鶹¹û¶³â€™s academic leaders virtually by Zoom and closed with a special virtual Question & Answer event with Â鶹¹û¶³ Community College President Laura L. Douglas, where students shared and discussed their questions about the upcoming fall semester.
